Useful exercises, Jane, thank you! You are very clear in your explanations and emphasis - valuable hints and techniques for all of us. I think I'll book some lunge lessons!
Another fantastic lesson. Thank you Jane, and thank you Kaitlyn. The gift of making things simple, such as wearing a stiprd shirt to check for straightness is something that the least of us can use. By showing what errors to watch for and anticipate, and then how to guard against them, you make the exercises of greater value. Thank you again.
Wow! I have wanted some exercises to help develop my independent seat and these are what I need. I don't have a 'Rocky' so I am making use of my Sharper Image horse exerciser until I can afford a real Equiciser. My mare is really patient, too, so I can practice on her after using the exercises. Thank you so very much!
I only get to ride on the weekends. I always feel that I waste Saturday trying to review what I practiced the week before. I NEED an Equicizer so I can ride all week and really take advantage of my weekend lessons.
Both videos are wonderful..thanks for the very clear explanations. My trainer had me on the lunge just yesterday to work on my position. Every barn should have an equicizer!
These vide os are fantastic. They are so useful and well done in explaining the techniques as well as showing the errors one is apt to make or prone to. I was taught in these things many years ago, but most people today are not. They provide good basic instruction as well as serving as a good refresher or reinforcement for any rider. Thank you for developing and making available such useful and well done instructional riding videos. I hope that you will develop more of them. Kindest Regards, Robert N. Pettit
I agree! How brilliantly simple to wear a striped shirt so you can "self-check"!...And I love how doing the exercises on the Equicizer lets you improve your skills without worrying about getting bucked off or run away with! Good Boy, Rocky!!!
Thx SO much for the exercises!! Q for Jane or other commenters - Thoughts on alternatives if our barn does not have an equiciser? My rocking chair is a little low, and I think an exercise Ball might also be a bit low...
